Good role for Trevor Eve in this film. And then a month later he debuted as Eddie Shoestring. 😊.Saw this film when ITV debuted it in 1983. I remember I put the cat out because it was behaving too much like a vampire. It was flexing its claws at my neck!😂🐈⬛.

Think I saw @ the Brixton Ritzy but we're going back a few years. can't be sure. Not a bad film. Never watched since. I remember it fairly well because if you actually go somewhere to see something, it's more memorable. 📽️.

I remember the weekend after GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM was shown, people in work saying how much they enjoyed. I thought, I like John Thaw, I'll catch next time it's on. Well, 27 years later. 🤯.Very good it was. I should've watched in '98. 😄

First of the Summer Wine wasn't a bad spin-off. Nice atmosphere. Completely different sense of humour to the parent show--which likely doomed it.
