no one argues that the guy was right, the argument has been that the girl is blowing it way out of proportion. the dude thought he did the right thing, explained it, was respectful the entire time and backed off, realizing his mistake. that's the whole point.

obesity is the leading cause of heart disease, they have a point in that sense, but regardless of that: a better, more social, healthcare system would decrease the likelihood of obesity aswell as heart disease getting to a point where heart surgery is needed anyways
