So doing a 180 worked for Zohran, doing a 180 did NOT work for Kamala, obv completely different contexts and issues regarding both. But neither “apologized”. And Talarico will have a harder time doing this considering these aren’t ideas like “defund the police” but philosophies

Kamala also famously did not apologize. In fact, that was why her campaign was so bad. She did a complete 180 on basically every issue, and even when asked to clarify why, just said “My values have not changed”, a completely vague answer that doesn’t address why you did a 180

Zohran famously did not do that. He doubled down on his “globalize the intifada” comments like three times before going “Ok maybe I shouldn’t say that, sorry” and he never once “apologized” for his comments on the police, just said his mind had changed without explaining why
