I’m gonna be real, I clocked what Vecna/Henry’s plan was in the first episode because it’s genuinely just "The Dark Tower". Swap out Vecna with the Crimson King and the Abyss with Algul Siento and it’s virtually the exact same plan!

I get the sentiment, but this is flat-out ahistorical. The performance styles are COMPLETELY different depending on historical context and performance traditions. They really aren’t comparable.
The fact that they could show so much emotion while having their faces covered just proves that Hollywood’s excuse of not giving Ancient Greek characters accurate helmets bc it covers the actors face and performance is completely bs.

Dude, what are you on about? The word “avatar” is so deeply integral to the themes of this story and Jake’s character. To say that the series should be called "Pandora" rather than "Avatar", is to say the title should be surface-level and not have thematic, symbolic meaning.
They should have called this franchise Pandora, the term "AVATAR" is not even relevant at this point
