Day 5 of #100DaysOfCode: Finished with the positioning section. It's fun to translate some 3d game relative positioning knowledge into CSS positioning, handy that. Moving on to grids and flexbox.

Day 4 of #100DaysOfCode: I took a bit of a break for two days, Christmas corporate events and stuff. Too drunk to learn :D But moving on now, finished the block model of HTML, half-way through the document flow. Looking forward to learn about grid and flex tomorrow!.

Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode: Today I completed the rest of the basic selectors section and made my way through about 1/4 of the basic block document model. Still lots to cover, but I'm making decent progress! Also watched a couple of videos by @KevinJPowell - highly recommend!

Day 2 of #100DaysOfCode: decided to finish for the day by completing the challenge at the end of the section. Looking at the HTML and a pre-coded CSS file identify and correctly name CSS selectors to create a biathlon scoring board. Pure CSS graphics. nice!

Day 2 of #100DaysOfCode: Completed the basics of HTML and CSS, moved on to the CSS Selectors section. Had fun coloring shooting targets with nth-child selectors and combinations thereof. Didn't think CSS would be so multi-layered. cascading even :D.

Phew, 11:40pm. 4 sections done on HTML document structure, text markup, links, images and basic CSS. Just ticked off the last challenge of replicating CSS design based on a page mockup. Total done 114 tasks out of 1513. Baby steps :) #100DaysOfCode

Time to give this another serious go. I'm starting my second attempt at #100DaysOfCode, this time not out of curiosity, but real intent to switch my career. A friend recommended HTML Academy, here I come!.

D9-10 of #100DaysOfCode: got a bit caught up yesterday so didn't post an update, but I spent most of the evening reading through the AWS docs. Today I believe I am happy with the tribute page challenge. It's not perfect, but I want to move forward!.

D8 of #100DaysOfCode: was a bit exhausted at work today so didn't get much coding done. I finished the last two user stories for the tribute page, however, I am not yet happy with the CSS design. I also got my AWS account running and bought my own domain.

Day 7 of #100DaysOfCode: I completed the HTML layout for the tribute page, currently implementing 8/10 user stories for the challenge. Two more stages to go: put in more content (more research) and the visual design, which is the hardest part for me.
