It was so cool to hear from a creator of one of the shows we covered. She was an incredible talent and her puppetry was so creative and full of life. I’m glad we produced that episode and she was able to see more people remember and love her work. Rest in Peace, Noreen.

Just heard of the passing of Under the Umbrella Tree creator Noreen Young. We did a DefunctTV on the show and her puppetry a few years ago, and afterwards, she sent me a long and kind message about how much she enjoyed it and reading the comments of people remembering her show.

In the early 1960s, Walt Disney carried the torch of one of humanity's oldest pursuits, the search for mechanical life. The result was Audio-Animatronics, a new breed of robots that would soon populate the world. Watch Disney's Animatronics: A Living History now.

On this week's episode of Where We Parked, we explore why exactly the pop-rock band OneRepublic was at Disney World so much in the 2010s, and we learn that we are bigger fans of the band than we could have possibly predicted.
