Four main themes from the #WHA73 discussion on #EndPolio efforts: 1. We must stop circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus outbreaks. I am in awe of the immense commitment from Member States to close the immunity gap that widened during #COVID19 & work to overcome challenges ahead.

In his UNGA speech, @BorisJohnson reaffirmed ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง leadership on global health. We will boost funding to @WHO by 30%, securing our position among the biggest donors. We will also give ยฃ500m in aid to the COVAX initiative, helping developing countries to access a #COVID vaccine.
