Tonight’s fireside Steam Deck game is the Octopath Traveler 0 demo. I’m not normally a JRPG guy but I played the mobile version for a bit and liked the idea of the gacha stuff being removed. It runs great and the demo gives you 3 hours with save transferring to the full game.

I figured out why I like Opposing Force so much. It's essentially an FPS where you get to play as HUNK from Resident Evil.

Half-Life: Opposing Force is as good as everyone says it is so far. It blows my mind that this is from Gearbox. I love the military theme, the set pieces and the environmental moments. So far the puzzles are a bit more engaging than the first game too and fit the survival theme

Very similar specs to Steam Machine. Better in a few spots and it’s $549.
