A4: The likelihood of a teen driver getting in a crash is directly related to the number of teens in the vehicle. Other distractions can be visual and cognitive. Driving without any other passengers or with your phone on DND can greatly minimize this risk! #RulesForTheRoad

A3: Graduated Driver Licensing systems are state-specific laws delineating when a learner can get a permit, an intermediate stage driver can drive at night/ w/ a passenger, & when full privileges are given. GDLs keep novice drivers in mind to keep teens safe! #RulesForTheRoad

A1: Novice drivers are 4x more likely at risk for a crash or near-crash event. Motor vehicle crashes are the 2nd leading cause of injury in kids ages 1-19 years due to inexperience, passengers/distractions, and drowsiness - just to name a few 🚘
