The work small community organizations are doing to fill the gaps in this moment is humbling. So grateful for the ecosystem stepping up for our neighbors.

Miami-Dade jails are an incredibly vulnerable place during this outbreak. But there are meaningful steps our government can take to stem the crisis. @Dreamdefenders @NewFLMajority @DcsrTeam https://t.co/aogukEJMdR

Major shoutout to @MiaClimate for having live, in person Spanish and Haitian Creole translators here to facilitate a tri-lingual meeting. This is how it should always be.

Here at #ACEP19 listening to @DraCoquiMD share her experience around #HurricaneMaria. Important reminder that so many of these deaths were preventable, and this is why we do what we do #MedTwitter #EmergencyMedicine #DisasterMedicine

Congratulations to our friend @stein_katherine on this meticulously researched and important piece. This is a must read, especially for anyone who lives in #SouthFlorida. How are organizations incorporating nuclear power plant threats into their disaster plans? #HurricaneHealthy

It's been just over 3 weeks since WCK began serving meals to those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Now, from 3 kitchens on 3 different islands, we have served 500,000 meals to evacuee shelters, churches, a hospital & into neighborhoods, and we're still cooking. #ChefsForBahamas
