It’s time to axe net zero. A ridiculous policy that is threatening our energy and economic security, worsening the cost of living crisis and won’t make a blind bit of difference except for the corporations who profit from it at our expense.

Labour’s tax grabbing, business destroying, self-serving government is an affront to our democracy. They know it & that’s why they keep cancelling elections across the country.  Britain is run by a left wing authoritarian government - unfit to govern

Despite regime propagandists recently claiming the government was getting on top of boat people migration, over 800 migrants crossed the Channel in small boats on Saturday alone - setting a record for December. Over 1,300 have arrived on Britain’s shores this past week. At one

WTF? Labour is planning to give Magistrates the power to jail people for up to 2 years, while scaling back the automatic right of appeal ? This is not reform. It’s an authoritarian power without proper restraint. Crazy times đŸ”„

This government tells us in one breath that it wants to stamp out misogyny, and in the next that it will be fighting in the Supreme Court to remove women’s and girls’ rights to single-sex spaces.

No. Labour inherited a lot of debt in July 2024 because of massive spending during the pandemic — which Labour supported, indeed it wanted more — and post-Ukraine invasion energy subsidies — which Labour supported, indeed it wanted more. The pandemic is no more and energy prices

As you’re fighting to remove our daughters’ rights to the privacy and safety of single-sex bathrooms and changing rooms, while poised to allow the unethical puberty blockers trial, perhaps children should be protected from @UKLabour.

Maybe I’m missing something but please explain: how can a fall in the inflation rate in November be ‘a result’ of a Budget that didn’t happen til the end of November? Has Labour mastered time travel?

Who's going to tell her? No @lisanandy The Supreme Court has not 'set a new standard around the definition of what is a woman'. It has clarified that: 'the terms “man”, “woman” and “sex” in the EA 2010 refer to biological sex.' https://t.co/7INGzNfcP9

If we truly were preparing for war, we would be cutting back on welfare spending, reducing our debt, removing regulations that hold back growth and - most immediately - hanging on to sovereignty over the Chagos Islands.

In Orwell’s 1984 the Ministry of Plenty cut the chocolate ration from 30 to 20 grams, but the Party presented it as an increase to 20 grams. People even took the streets to thank Big Brother... Meanwhile, under Labour, the cap on bus fares has been raised from ÂŁ2 to ÂŁ3... đŸ€”

Catching the bus shouldn’t cost the earth. That’s why we are capping bus fares at £3 and investing in new buses and stops.

Brilliant! The economy shrunk again, yet Rachel was so confident it was growing, she increased taxes. The only part of the economy that’s growing is government spending
which they can’t afford. It almost funny, Labour MPs will now scream about needing even more welfare

Well said Andrew Neil. He absolutely nails down on Keir Starmer’s basic lack of understanding on the windfall tax and the devastating impact of this on the North Sea oil & gas industry. This is proper journalism - holding the government to account with knowledge and insight.

Over 1,000 jobs a month are being lost in North Sea oil and gas thanks to his government’s policies yet Keir Starmer doesn’t have even a basic understanding of his 78% windfall profits tax. He tells STV it only kicks in above a certain level of profit. Wrong. It applies without

So Starmer is aiming to "Eliminate opposition". Think about that. 'Progressives' in Labour really are on a roll this week, on top of eliminating juries & eliminating various local elctions. Government labels so many far right, but its own authoritarian instinct knows no bounds.
