We know that Southwark Labour are shoddy social landlords, but now it appears that Labour can't even follow their own rules when it comes to private renting. We've demanded that tough action is taken by Southwark Council to prove that no-one is above the rules.

In Labour-run Southwark, too many street lights take too long to fix when reported broken, and some streets where there are no lights at all. Liberal Democrats are fighting hard for cleaner and safer streets.

Too many areas in #Southwark are poorly lit. Good street lighting helps deter crime & ASB, reduce falls and makes public spaces more welcoming. Broken lights need fixing quicker, plus we more lighting in key locations so that everyone can feel safer when out & about after dark.
