Coach for community leaders and execs. Not really on X much anymore but sometimes I pop in to see what people are yelling about these days.

Lately, I’ve been wondering if I ever truly wanted to be a CEO. Did I want to start companies? Did I want to build something massive? Or were these stories handed to me? I shared my reflections in my newsletter today. https://t.co/QaS2zDNrXw

Buying a house and I can't imagine doing this without AI. Reviewing contracts, explaining things, walking me through processes... It's been absolutely gamechanging.

Can’t believe it’s been 4 years since The Business of Belonging was published! To all who have read it, shared it, and used it to build better communities, I appreciate you deeply 🙏

AI can listen to your sad story. But AI can never cry with you.

So much focus on becoming someone better. When perhaps it’s going back to who you were, way back before you started contorting yourself, that’s calling you.

Do you do anything to check in and ground before you step into “work mode”? I started reciting this work gatha every time I sit down at my computer to work. It's been helping me ground myself, check my ego at the door, and remember why I work.

This is cool. The ideal group size for a conversation is four. At five or more, conversations splinter or turn into an audience. https://t.co/r5bGXd0Vc7

When social groups have five or more members, the chances of them laughing together plummets.

One thing that’s stopping me from using AI as a therapist / coach more is that I just don’t trust the companies that would have access to all of this deeply personal information about me. I trust a professional I’m working with 1-1 much more.

Got 5 likes on a post. That's pretty much viral for me on X at this point. This platform has truly gone dark. With a lot of my friends no longer here, the quality of conversation so low, I'm feeling pretty close to leaving.

There's a big difference between communicating to someone that they made you angry and directing your anger at someone in order to control them. One invites deeper connection. The other creates division.

The more I practice not clinging to bliss, the easier it's becoming to sit with discomfort. It's the same muscle. The letting go muscle.
