I'd like to share some reflections on the death of a patient. I’ve thought about her a lot. She gave me explicit consent to tweet the details of her case, about four hours before she died. Her hope was that someone might benefit from her experience. /1

PSA: When a naturopath recommends chelation “to remove the metal from your body,” that is exactly what you should not do.

So tragic: Alberta baby born with congenital #measles (mother contracted measles late in pregnancy) died shortly after birth. The province, which has had a massive measles outbreak this year, says this is the 7th case of congenital measles in 2025.

Open letter to my fellow intensivists/hospitalists: Please stop treating every episode of fever in your patients unless you have a really strong reason such as neurological injury or myocardial ischemia. When I tell them to "just monitor", many ICU nurses are looking at me

Yesterday, my account was hacked for a while and strangely, my most viral tweet was deleted. So here it is, updated for 2025 for science and health-illiterates. To summarize: 1. One whole egg with yolk a day does not increase blood cholesterol 2. Green tea does not help

I'm not saying these "ivermectin cured my cancer" testimonials are entirely fabricated but THEORETICALLY if someone: 1) no longer had a medical license, and 2) profited from pushing ivermectin, and 3) had no qualms about lying to desperate people ... Just putting this out there
