Senior civil servants who failed to put the proper systems in place to prevent the data breach will get the sack for this though, right? No more fat pensions for them, right? Right?.
This is utterly shameful. £7 billion earmarked without even considering longer term costs and second order consequences of poor vetting done by an overstretched MoD. Nothing less than a betrayal.

In his @Telegraph piece @NeilDotObrien refers to my @Policy_Exchange report into Non-Crime Hate Incidents. Our findings showed @EssexPoliceUK record 10x the rate of NCHIs versus @WestYorksPolice. I've been to Southend - didn't seem ten times more hate filled than Leeds to me. .

Good to get a message from the @metpoliceuk about some proper crime fighting. Well done to the cops. However, the sentence of 27 months by Kingston Crown Court for this scumbag repeat burglar is derisory. I wonder how many previous convictions he has? I bet it's a lot!

We hosted a pretty terrific lineup at the “Now and England” conference last month, but I don’t think there’s much doubt it was Thomas Skinner who stole the show with this magnificent speech on ‘The England I Love.’

Twenty years ago today on the 7th July 2005, following the terrorist attacks in London, I was called into work as a still quite young in service police officer working in Camden and Kings Cross. I will never forget the remarkable bravery of many of my colleagues that day and in.

Contrary to the judge's view I suspect there would be deep public revulsion about this man's 50 convictions for robbery, burglary, theft and false imprisonment!.
