A very welcoming flu vaccination session at our Drury Lane Hub, and a much smoother injection from Annabel than the COVID-19 vaccination I had the day before at my local pharmacy. Thank you Annabel!
Our chief nurse and director of quality and professions Darryl Thompson visited community psychiatric nurse Annabel at Drury Lane Health and Wellbeing Centre in Wakefield to have his flu vaccination 💉💪 All our staff can visit the intranet to book theirs.

Please, ignore the pit pony accent! I genuinely believe that everything I have ever done well as a mental health professional has been as a result of being in a situation where I understood everyone’s psychological safety needs, and managed to create an environment to suit.

Had my flu jab last week @allofusinmind. Have just been for my COVID-19 jab at a community pharmacy. Took a selfie outside, but it was nowhere near as interesting as this garden on the same street. Feeling vaccinated, and not flushed (sorry, had to get a pun in somewhere…)
