This has got to be one of the weirdest takes. The fact that people are still discussing this game TWENTY SEVEN years later is a testament to its enduring Legacy.

I honestly don't understand the schism between Fallout fans over these 2 games. What you have to remember is Bethesda didn't make NV, and if they did, it wouldn't be the same game. They had a different vision for Fallout, and that's totally ok 👍

I've been a gamer since the 1980s. Since then, games (not all) have changed and become more accessible to appeal to a broader audience, and I'm fine with that. Why ? Because in reality, there are way more 'niche' games than there ever were, and I'm spoilt for choice 😃

It's really simple. Just don't buy it. There is nothing about an 'Ultimate' edition you NEED. It's not pricing anyone out of the market.
If you don't agree with these absurdly greedy practices, stop buying. You, as a consumer, hold all the power.

A game on the PS store that has surpassed the £100+ mark.

Seen alot of talk about which Fallout game is the 'best' and it really is down to what experience you want.
If you want a deep Rpg with a rich, complex story then it's 1,2 and New Vegas. If you want a more fun shooter game then it's 3 and 4. Non are 'bad' games, just different.

My choice would be PC, why ? Because you can build a good pc without spending loads of money, you don't need the best cpu or gpu for gaming and imho it has the largest catalogue of genres to suit all gamers and the most competitive pricing.

Popular doesn't =better. Fallout 1 and 2 are objectively better Rpgs than fallout 3 that's about as deep as a puddle. It's just more popular because 'fps'. It's not a better game.
