I desperately want a return to 1950s dating norms and valuing of marriage and virginity, not because I'm a chauvanist or bitter incel, but because I'm a father to a beautiful daughter, and I don't want her chewed up, hurt and abused by modern dating culture.

I suspect the statistics show single dads are > than single moms. Not necessarily because dads are inherently better or richer, but because the mom almost always gets custody of the kids. For a man to get custody, he has to be, in the eyes of the court, extraordinarily good.

Difficult for most virgins to comprehend, but often masturbation IS more pleasurable than sex. You get to know your own body pretty well and you don't have to worry about another's fun. That should be encouraging for guys tempted to lose their virginity for fear of missing out.

Women get called out more because men generally take the advice. They do their role, going out, bringing home the bacon, during the heavy labor chores, they want kids and to be fathers.
It's the women who so often reject their role and want to work outside the home too.

In the game, all the female protagonists were drop-dead gorgeous. It defies suspension of disbelief for the Witcher to be so smitten by her, given her looks and personality.

Agree. I'm raising my daughter this way. But I worry about the other women she will meet in life. It seems like so many older promiscuous women try to corrupt younger women even before adulthood, instead of protecting them as in past ages.

I'd qualify that a bit. Like DeSantis, pretty much everyone in the party has to bend the knee to avoid the wrath of MAGA. I'd distinguish between people supporting because they have to and those who are enthusiastic sycophants.
