I don’t understand what “guaranteed game time” means for Nwaneri. He’s simply not developed his game or physicality for that yet, and wouldn’t be guaranteed games for any ‘elite’ European club.

People need to realise their clubs are businesses who all have similar levels of income. Tribalism hardly comes into it. It’s clubs acquiring talent and trying to get the best deal. If you want tribalism from your club, go set-up a Football Manager campaign.

People over-do the “Arsenal getting Chelsea out of jail” narrative. Chelsea stockpile a lot of talented players and tend to be happy negotiators. Top teams around Europe will continue to buy from them. Remove the social media discourse and use your brains.
