Scoping out some habitat works along the Inny yesterday. #beaver dam has blown a bend in what is otherwise a straightened uniform channel, and dumped a gravel bed behind for fish spawning. Nice to see habitat creation at work! @WestcountryRT

Nice to see such a good turn out for today's March for Clean Water! It's important as a scientist to be objective in evidence as this is the best path to understanding, yet many of us end up in that game due to a deep fascination and care. Speaking for the rivers that cannot!

This was fun to be part of! Celebrating the migration of salmon up the Exe and highlighting the issues that they face.
22 human legs, 50 miles and a Salmon called Samantha. Following the cancellation of the full Salmon Run, some of us ran up the river on Sunday to make sure the annual celebration of the endangered Salmon and their upriver migration still took place.
