The government should be more efficient, transparent and accountable. With over 7,000 units of local government in IL—more than any other state in the country—it is critical that we eliminate or consolidate many of these taxing bodies that are redundant, unnecessary or wasteful.

THREAD: It was disheartening to learn that blatantly racist restrictive covenants were once commonplace, but even more appalling to know that no legislative action has been taken to outright remove them from property ownership documents still used today.
