For all the ufologists sending me abuse, I tried to get testimony or evidence that contradicted Kirkpatrick’s claims. People told me they knew ppl who sent info to AARO and were ignored, but they provided no evidence for this. None.

1. It’s not a non sequitur. It’s about the burden of proof. Grusch et al. have claimed that aliens have visited Earth. It’s up to them to prove those claims. Not the rest of us and not even the government. It’s like claiming there are fairies at the bottom of your garden and.

@UapEcosystem The burden of proof isn’t on me. There’s a claim that the US has ETs and spaceships. The burden of proof is on the people making those claims. If someone did provide a smoking gun, I highly doubt they would ever see the inside of a jail. They’d probs get a Nobel prize.

When it comes to UFOs, I think I’ve been more than fair to people. I especially have sympathy for alleged alien abductees. Even if there’s a rational explanation for their experiences, they still leave sufferers traumatised. I wrote about that here:

Having thought about this a bit more, I don’t think there’s much in this. I was a recent graduate when I became homeless and I’ve come across ex physicists, lecturers and other professionals. Not all homeless people are ne'er-do-wells & addicts.

No, the whole they-told-lawmakers-in-private bit has just about managed to penetrate my “thick skull”, but what’s inside it is still not convinced that it’s evidence for ET. Also, I’ve never said I don’t believe Grusch; all I’ve ever said is there’s no evidence to support his.
@DaniLavelle Something your thick skull fails to comprehend is that they are going through proper channels, presenting evidence to lawmakers who can effect change and declassify information. If they violated an NDA or the law, they will face consequences, and individuals with thick skulls.

The fact that SWEP (emergency measures for sheltering the homeless during extreme weather) has preconditions that people have to meet is not only insane, but criminal. And more will die this winter because of it.
