Today is the one-year anniversary of my weight loss surgery. I’m down 176 pounds - from 463 to 287. Under 300 for the first time in about 25 years. Praising God today for His providence in opening the doors to make this possible last year. Onward and downward!

Prior to Angela’s surgery, doc said 95 percent chance the mass was full-blown cancer. Today, pathology report showed it came up one step short. NO CANCER! Praise God! We serve the Great Physician! She is going home this morning. Lots of work still ahead. But we are celebrating!

My wife’s sister passed away today after a year-long battle with cancer. Please keep her family in your prayers.

Six months ago today I had gastric bypass surgery. As of this morning, I’ve lost 140 pounds. The shirt I’m wearing today is just a year old. It “fit” last summer. Now it’s almost a dress. Thanking God again

Amidst all the craziness, I have this blessing to pass on. Today is the 4-month anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. Counting the 4-week liquid diet leading up to surgery, I’ve lost 121 pounds so far. Thanking God for the steady progress.

Mentioned a couple of weeks ago I was close to a milestone. Today it finally happened. The scales this morning read 299 1/2. That’s the first time in over 25 years the first number wasn’t a 3 or 4. Down 164 total. With God’s help there’s still work to be done.

My weight loss surgery was 2 years ago today. I’ve lost 180 pounds, and feel better than I have in 30 years. God opened so many impossible doors to make the surgery happen, I want to make sure He gets the praise. I pray I use this new lease on life for His will, not mine.

Just weighed myself for the first time since 9 days post-surgery. Since starting the liquid diet four weeks prior to surgery, I've lost 62 pounds. I've lost 31 of those in exactly three weeks since surgery. Officially under the 400 mark. All I can do is praise God!
