As someone who rode the R-line until 3 years ago let me just say. Fare 👏 free 👏 transit 👏 works.
The R-line free fare pilot was an immense success for @RIPTA_RI, spearheaded by @MeghanEKallman and @LeonelaFelix. 40% increased ridership, easier boarding increased efficiency, savings for low income riders and lower emissions. We hope a fully funded RIPTA can do more fare-free.

Hot #energytwitter take:. Residential Demand Response is insanely under-valued - none I've seen would compel me to set my thermostat above 76. And that's IF you even get paid for the value you're providing. This is the great energy demand-value gap.
