Pitchers vs QB’s would be a better question. Shortstops throw from a ton of diff arm angles , have balls hit and thrown 95 mph at them, they dive and jump all the time.......pitchers throw from one arm angle and cover first.

I feel like there's a lot of baseball fan/writer bias going on here. Dodgeball resembles football far more than baseball. Throwing a large ball at a moving target while trying to avoid interceptions and incoming obstacles. That's what QBs do.

Everyone seems convinced that the answer is shortstops but quarterbacks are also incredible freak athletes, more accustomed to throwing a larger ball, and have a size advantage on shortstops. They're also used to catching with both hands.

I gotta go with QBs since they throw at moving targets while SSs throw at a fixed location. Granted, both can throw on the run and from various angles.
