Proud 🇨🇦 Conservative MP. Works for Okanagan Lake West-South Kelowna. Government should not do everything. Let’s grow the economic pie before eating it.

Cherry-picked "experts".
@MichelleRempel CP called you a liar in a "fact-checking" piece for calling it a crisis, IIRC. Them fact-checking a matter of pure opinion is still one of my favourite go-to examples of overt press bias in Canada. It was basically: "MR said X but we found experts who disagree. ".

Strongly agree.
Canadians are calling for urgent bail reform — the federal government and @bcndp must act NOW!. The tragic murder of Bailey McCourt in Kelowna exposes a broken bail system that’s putting lives at risk. BC needs tougher bail conditions, faster domestic violence court processes,.

“The prime minister’s answer—faster growth and a balanced operating budget within three years—sidestepped the real issue…this defence commitment will require one of three hard choices: larger deficits, higher taxes, or significant spending cuts. It could even involve all three.”.
Canada’s 5 percent of GDP defence spending commitment comes with a fiscal reckoning. And it's more than an 'operating budget' problem. My latest for @TheHubCanada explores the future of the federal budget: #cdnecon #cdnpoli
