Why is being a dad often lumped with parenting badly? Do people's expectations of dads limit us? https://t.co/thrOpJC56a #pbloggers #dad

Know an interesting fact that no one else finds interesting? Share it here! Mine is that for the next six months the age of my kids are prime numbers: 11, 7 and 3. It will never happen again... Kinda like my family thinking I’m interesting...

I'm getting criticism for asking this question but the point is, can Johnson serve Britain fully as a PM as well as fulfil a father’s role? If the answer is no, then he is failing in his duty to Britain. That is not about gender, it is a call about his decision to do both

I'm hoping to interview Boris Johnson on how he plans to juggle fatherhood and politics. What should I ask him? #borisbaby

#Sharedparenting also has massive benefits for couples - greater the father’s contribution to housework and childcare, the more satisfied BOTH parents are and the more stable their relationship. @markriceoxley69 wrote about it here:

Study finds childcare and stable relationships are linked and says government should encourage more men to take paternity leave

"Rights are not a zero-sum game...More rights for men to take a bigger role as fathers goes hand in hand with more rights for women. They are in fact mutually reinforcing." @DadsTurnLB @PoliticalYeti nicely put #workingparents

There's a lot of dads out there, so why the lack of imagination when it comes to policies for them in this year's election manifestos? Our round up of who is offering what on #flexibleworking #childcare and #paternityleave at #GeneralElection2019

Is work life balance a myth? I don't think so, but it takes effort and an understanding that there's no right answer, except the right answer for you. My take on a tricky subject live today on @LifeDaddi https://t.co/lhWVVtEpFG

Let’s stop assuming that women who work as caregivers (paid or otherwise) do so through free choice. And that men who don’t, aren’t also constrained in their choices!

Absolutely. And are the women in the 97% female #earlyyears workforce - poorly paid, low in status, there from 100% free, unconstrained choice?
