My take on versions catalog & convention plugins !. Honestly if you're fine with groovy, there's no need to migrate. Convention plugins are clearly more complex to set up. Feedbacks appreciated!.

You're using a ViewModel (be it AAC or custom) ? then you're doing MVVM. Period. MVI has been around for a long time and is mainly inspired by Redux. Nothing to do with reducing the number of args of your methods/VM and exposing a single view state 🙄 2/2.

Don't know how this MVI trend started, but 99% of posts/articles are plain wrong about it. Just because you're using a sealed class/interface to encapsulate user interactions (the so called "intents") and a single view state doesn't mean you're doing MVI 1/2.

Coroutines are nice and I wouldn't go back to RxJava (though I enjoyed it, once mastered it's super powerful) but boi do I miss the flatMapSingle operator!!.

Compose Material 1.3, ModalBottomSheet goes under status bar *by design*. who the hell thought that would be a good idea seriously ? Drag handle not reachable. Insets breaks design (ugly top padding) what's wrong with you guys!!.
