that they do not understand. Under MHA guidance you cannot force any person with capacity to have treatment. So here is the question that is really bothering me, capacity is about retaining and understanding information, being able to balance risk so how can anyone do this 2/3

So many conversations this week around mental health systems. I’m reaching out to try and find out if this is as big an issue as I think it is. Autistic people are feeding back that they are being labelled as non compliant and disengaged when not accepting treatment 1/3

Coproduction and personalisation can’t happen without self advocacy. Self advocacy is about people speaking up for themselves in a way people communicate.
