SCOOP: @BearkatsBSB is expected to hire Dave Wood as its new assistant and recruiting coordinator, I'm told. Wood spent 2025 as the HC at Odessa (TX) College, where he went 40-17 in his first season. Was previously at JC power San Jacinto (TX). He replaces Jake Carlson. UPDATED

This guy, no doubt was one of the best humans you could have met. He rarely had a bad day and if he did, he made sure your day was better after talking to him. Gonna miss that voice and smile in the dugout man. Everyone could learn how to live life from Lance! Love you 4❤️.
