This shouldn't be taken as an excuse to add a bridge pitch to anyone's arsenal, I was just curious as to how it affects those that do. Every athlete is different and there are so many ways to dominate with wide pitch movement gaps (ie Framber Valdez). Thanks for reading!.

From the sample I found. - Pitchers got 7.3% better results on endpoint pitches (xWOBA 0.292 vs 0.315) when they threw bridge pitches first. - Induced chases 21.8% more (32.7% vs 26.9%) with bridge-first. Trade-off: 6.4% lower whiff rates, 31.9% lower called strikes
