Last week, for the sake of twenty quid, he tipped 800,000 people into poverty. This week, our PM paints in a villa costing £25,000 per week. I feel sick.
Just heard the Home Secretary stand up in Parliament and declare that "the British people support the Rwanda plan".
I'm sick of these guys telling me what I support.
I do not support the "Rwanda plan".
If you don't either, please retweet.
I studied economics at the same Oxford college as Liz Truss and don't recall anyone there giving the remotest credence to trickle down economics. We all know it's a lie. We knew then and we know now.
I stand by our "foreign" doctors.
I stand by our "foreign" nurses.
I stand by our "foreign" staff, our key workers, our friends, our neighbours, and all of our superb people. They aren't "foreign" at all. They are us.
Hands up if you think a Minister who spent *half a million pounds* on a flight to Australia should be detained at Her Majesty's Pleasure?

'Anyone who wants to can buy a test' just as 'anyone who wants to' can buy a Ferrari, just as 'anyone who wants to' can buy a lucrative PPE contract, just as 'anyone who wants to' can buy a peerage, just as anyone can buy anything in Johnson's Britain - as long as they have cash.
Let's face it. They turn up expecting every entitlement. We give them free accommodation and subsidised food. Some even commit crimes while we fund them! They may pretend to integrate with us, but really they hate our culture and our laws.
Put these Tory ministers on a barge.
Your BBC costs you £159 a year.
Your Culture Secretary, Nadine Dorries, costs you nearly one thousand licence fees, at £149,437 per year.
Your Culture Secretary had no clue how Channel 4 was funded.
Whose funding should we take away?
Your cost of living is increasing at its fastest rate for 30 years.
Your Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, says he "understands the pressures people are facing".
Your Chancellor and his wife are richer than the Queen.
Hands up if you don't need to wait for Sue Gray to tell you if you are angry.
Hands up if you don't need to wait for Sue Gray to tell you whether this Prime Minister should take a running jump, and take his whole corrupt cabal with him.

Sajid Javid just described deaths as "mercifully low".
Since his "Freedom Day", thirteen thousand, nine hundred and eighty-six people have died of Covid in the UK. What's merciful, or low, about that?
Javid telling us to 'move on' from Bozo's Savile slur.
Just like they tell us to 'move on' from partygate.
Just like they told us to 'move on' from the golden wallpaper scandal, Cummings' Covid drives, you name it.
It's not time for us to move on, it's time for THEM to move on.
Reminder: lying about a fixed penalty (speeding) offence landed Cabinet member Chris Huhne an 8-month prison sentence for perverting the course of justice.
5 years since we lost Alan Rickman. Not just a great actor, but the kind of man who would quietly post cheques to struggling fellow actors to enable them to keep going. Our family was lucky and honoured to have him as a friend.
I am a man of love not hate, optimism not melancholy. But I hate them. What they've done, and what they're doing. Their glory in division. Their smirking lies and their wholesale theft. Their faux patriotism and their utter disdain for the lives - and the deaths - of our people.
The Vote Leave cabal promised us £18bn a year (£350m/week) for the NHS. That would easily cover the cost of Social Care reform. Vote Leave are now the Government. Where's the money they promised? Why are they raising taxes instead?
When I am in charge of the country, I will introduce legislation to require companies to replace the line "We are experiencing a high volume of calls” with "We have not hired enough operators to answer our phones."
Apart from failure to secure food supply, failure to control the pandemic, failure to get us working, failure to get us travelling, stealing our money on an epic scale, dividing us bitterly, and killing 150k of us, it's been a top government so far.
Dear Jacob Rees-Mogg, some young folk, fleeing an illegal gathering during lockdown, were tasered by police, and wound up in court with hefty fines. Not 'just fluff' for them.
Dear Mr Sunak,
On behalf of pretty much every doctor in the land, pretty much every person on a waiting list in the land, pretty much every sick person in the land, and increasingly most voters in the land...
If you don't want to be detested, try not being detestable all day long. Try not crushing the poor. Try not crashing the economy. Try not dismantling the health service. Try not being corrupt. Try not stoking division. Try not lying. Try.
If I were Prime Minister, I'd make truth sexy again. I'd make decency sexy. Kindness. Honesty. Public service. All the square, boring sh*t. We should prize that stuff. Justice. Fairness. That's what Britishness should be. You want to raise a flag? Raise a flag to that.
If you're not angry that your government presides over the worst death toll in the world; if you're not angry that your government spaffs hundred of billions of your money on waste and shame; if you're not angry that your government has detonated your economy, what will it take?
When Johnson goes, as now seems imminent, we need 'Johnsonism' to go with him. No more culture wars. No more routine dishonesty. No more disregard for rule of law. No more victimisation of the poor, the professions, immigrants or refugees. A return to decency and compassion.
Twelve thousand, six hundred and seventy-five Covid victims have died since the abandonment of all caution on "freedom day". May their souls rest in peace, and may their families rise in fury.
If you or your loved one is among the 740 new admissions to hospital reported today, remember that your Government knew this would happen, and effectively chose it for you. It's time for urgent political change.
Don't forget, in all of Europe, we have pretty much the fewest doctors per capita. If your surgery is overrun, ask yourself who's been running (down) the NHS, and the country, for more than a decade. They are destroying everything we hold dear. Enough is enough.

Incredible to think that Tories can openly say they want to take away human rights and still hope to be elected by the people whose rights they want to remove. Incredible - but true.
Man who literally lined his walls with gold using someone else's cash, tells Universal Credit claimants to "rely on their own efforts".
If it ever meant anything, Levelling Up is officially dead, and so are honour, irony and decency.
We have to march, don't we? For the sake of the poorest for the sake of business for the sake of farming for the sake of fuel for the sake of food for the sake of energy for the sake of health for the sake of freedom for the sake of the country. It is time.
The only thing worse than Raab's patronising, oily tone is the chilling content of his words as he speaks smoothly about 'creating space' by removing our human rights. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Let's get one thing absolutely, crystal clear. "Vaccine hesitancy" did not allow the Indian variant to get a foothold. Failure to put India on the red list did. Boris Johnson did. Hubris did. Lies did.
#TheJohnsonVariant
Sajid Javid just said Covid cases could reach a hundred thousand a day. And he's going to do precisely nothing about it.
We need these guys gone.

Hands up if you're thinking yesterday was a blessed, tear-inducing relief, but now how do we free Britain from the same brand of screaming exceptionalism and murderous incompetence?
Dear EU member countries,
Millions of us Brits are grateful for the freedoms, community and economic benefits of our time inside the EU, and are ashamed of, and embarrassed by, the crassly uninformed and shockingly rude ideologues who represent us.
Please accept our apologies.
If you didn't hear Mark Carney (ex Governor of the Bank of England, and straight talker) this morning, here's a summary: the pain we're in for now is because of Brexit.
What possible basis could there be for a superinjunction preventing publication of reports that Johnson, when Foreign Secretary, wanted to offer his mistress the job Chief of Staff? Quite literally affairs of state.
The Johnson government is withdrawing the UK, at pace, from the international community. Beyond the rule of law, beyond the constraints of honour, and beyond the pale.
Caroline Lucas is a hero and a beacon of integrity. She is a single MP representing the votes and views of many across the country. She must be heard.

In the mid-90s I set fire to myself. My sister and her husband arrived for dinner from the Isle of Wight. I turned up the gas on the stove and threw the pasta into the boiling water.

They're hoping

will go away. They are mistaken. The "no rules were broken" rebuttal insults our intelligence. And the Met's reluctance to get involved is only making the appearance of elite cover-up worse.
If you voted for a party calling themselves 'Local Conservatives', you'd be voting for people who couldn't even be honest about who they really are.

Say what you like about the suffering he caused to the victims and families of those who were sent to their deaths in care homes, but Boris Johnson got all the big calls right.

Liz Truss's claim that her policy was misrepresented is a lie. Her team is already lying and they're not even in power yet. British politics needs better. Britain needs better.
All the signs are that the Johnson cabal *wants* a big union fight, and will play a hard, dirty game to try and divide us. Rail workers are not the enemy. Never was solidarity more important.
Hard to see anyone being publicly blanked. But actually, this is correct moral behaviour. Ignore and shame liars, crooks and racists - especially when they've used chicanery to gain office.
Don't speak truth to this kind of power. Speak morals.
Today's big story is tactical voting. Tactical voting effectively forces cooperation, whether the parties want it or not. Tactical voting is people power.
Dear Tory backbench MPs, Truss and Kwarteng present a 'material risk' to the United Kingdom and its economy. You know it, the markets know it, and we know it. For the love of God - for the love of country - please, get them out.
Martin Lewis right to say 'We have Sue Gray to thank for the timing of this announcement' - but we also have
@MartinSLewis
to thank for fighting the good fight.
Not interested in the arguments adduced for privatising Channel 4. We all know it's really about ideology. We all know it's really about payback for holding the regime to account.
'If a Tory can be stopped, he/she must be stopped.'

You know what to do. If you live in Wakefield, please vote LABOUR. If you live in Tiverton, please vote LIB DEM.
They can be stopped.
Johnson is quite deliberately letting the Johnson Variant "rip" through your kids and mine, hang the unknown (and known) consequences. Hands up if you're not in the least bit okay with that.
🙋♂️🙋♂️
Hands up if you suspect your government might not give a sh*t if our kids catch Covid by the truckload. And hands up again if you suspect they might not really have a clue how dangerous "letting it rip" through schools could turn out to be.

Missing: Alexander, late 50s, vulnerable, dishevelled, overweight, last seen some time ago in Westminster, but may have travelled far after problems at work. Shows narcissistic traits - believes he is world king, lies easily, uses the name Boris. Dresses up. Hides in fridges.
Our relationship with the EU was of little concern to the general public until whipped up by fake patriots, backed by Putin. The Vote Leave mob, up to their necks in Russian donations and patronage, are now in power, and steadily dismantling our democracy. Yes, it's that bad.
5 million Brits won't be able to pay their next fuel bill, but don't worry, Rishier-than-the-Queen will come back with 'further help' in the autumn 'if it's necessary'. Bloke not only doesn't get it, he heads off to his home in LA, where temperatures this week will hit 34C.
Following Nadine Dorries' teary tribute to BBC's free and fearless war journalism, I share
@mrjamesob
's confusion as to how the BBC has shifted from Public Enemy No 1, deserving our disdain and the removal of the licence fee, to bastion of democracy in the space of a month. WTAF?
If the Tories can organise a leadership contest lasting a week, why did they put us through that interminable debacle in the summer, and leave the country adrift in a time of crisis?
What has Liz Truss ever done for us? Is she the same Liz Truss who, as environment minister, lifted the EU ban on NNIs - the pesticides which kill bees and birds?
When the financial crisis was global, the Tories persuaded voters it was Made in Britain, by Gordon Brown. Nowadays they would have us believe every self-inflicted Brexit calamity is a worldwide problem. They took us out of the EU internal energy market. And ca-boom.
Johnson never had a mandate to privatise Channel 4. And, now that he is utterly discredited, whatever broader mandate he did have is gone. He and his government's vindictive, spiteful Channel 4 sale should be quietly, but firmly, set aside.
At least one thing is clear now: this is their Brexit. This is what they fought like dogs for; divided the country for; sank the £ for; prorogued Parliament for; alienated Scotland for; cast off N. Ireland for; blew £200bn for; and trashed our international reputation for. This.
What our kids' home learning problems are showing is that school is a sticking plaster for poverty. Too many of our young people don't have the home resources and support to learn. Many don't even have reliable meals. This is the scandal underneath the Covid crisis.
Feel strangely familiar? Our govt claiming to be leading the world in sanctions rollout, whilst not actually rolling out the sanctions. All boast and no bollox. All pride and no shame. All song and no substance.
A new wave of Covid is now coming.
Formed almost entirely of the so-called Delta (or Indian) variant.
Some call this the Johnson Variant, because our Prime Minister failed to put India on the red list, for several weeks.
Be in no doubt: this is a problem of Johnson's making.
It's so hard to accept that our government does not have our best interests at heart. But the evidence is clear. They dole out our money, wholesale, to friends and family, and the poor go hungry. They party, and we stay home. They take appalling risks with our lives, and we die.
BBC news reporting that the Chancellor is 'refusing to comment' on the financial crisis he's precipitated. Just as well. Last time he opened his mouth, the pound suffered its sharpest fall in fifty years. All we need to hear from Kwarteng is his resignation.
So the regime is effectively phasing out testing. What's next? Phasing out counting the sick? The dead? Deleting "Covid", like "Brexit", from all official communications?
Just heard Johnson is moving to change the Conservative Party rulebook, raising the threshold of MPs' letters required to initiate a vote of no confidence in the sitting Prime Minister, from 15% to 100% - i.e. including a letter from the Prime Minister himself.*
The shocking NHS "Privatisation" Bill is in Parliament Monday and Tuesday.
It makes healthcare a privilege, not a right.
Nobody voted for this.
We clapped our NHS.
At 7pm on Monday, we stand again at our doors.
We *slow-clap* this sleazy Bill.
We make some noise.

Dorries says Truss should 'show how brave she is' by cancelling the investigation into Johnson's conduct.
That of course is the opposite of bravery. Real bravery, since the Tories no longer have a mandate, would be to call an immediate general election. Not just brave, but moral.
