I was 19 when I dated Greg. This was him, Xmas day in '89. A few years later, I was editing QX and I found out he died of AIDS when someone came in to place an obit in the mag. I sobbed in the office, then wiped my mascara and wrote him a proper full-page tribute.

In 1993, I dated (and briefly lived in Sydney with) Brenton Heath-Kerr. Brenton employed me as his 'Bodyguard and International Relaxologist'. He was a living conceptual work of art, AIDS activist + a brilliant rising star. He died of AIDS in 1995.
