Genuinely curious We start all of ours In Oct or later. I believe every horse should learn fundamentals as a yearling, even the late developing ones
Hereās a question for the HET experts Back when horses were stronger, lasted longer, raced more often, and of course (drug free), when were these horses started under tack? I was sent a vid of yearlings cantering on a track on 8/25. Seems like itās getting earlier and earlier

Lots happening in early August! Our stable has returned āhomeā to Turfway park. We will be based there till next spring, with stints at Keeneland and plans to take horses south! Follow along for the action! If there is any! It is horse racing after all!

Things that make partnering with @joincmnwlth great There is a Keeneland maintenance worker that stops by my barn at keeneland every morning to say hello to the crew, and see his horse. Makes me smile to see his face light up when the horse pokes his head out to say hi back

I make it a point to interact with the crowds @keeneland everytime I see them. The people come to see horses, learn more, and see a different side of racing. This morning was special. A young man with special needs walked up to pet my pony,saying heās never touch a horse. Special
