Great session chatting about #DecolonisingTheCurriculum with the young people from the #Antiracism society. I learnt so much; just one of many is the Blue & White Niles of Sudan. #Belonging came up in conversation regularly. These conversations are so important.

An important read by @LolaOkolosie, that solidifies the importance of education and connecting the past to the present. 'When treated purely as historical fact, the slave trade can be dismissed as an evil of the past – the reality is very different.' https://t.co/34Yee71PPD

Today, and probably every day, seems like a good time to highlight the excellent @gtcs pages on Equality and Diversity and welcome any moves aimed at taking forward the recommendations in the report(s) by Rowena Arshad
