For a year I have had the honor of getting to know about a few of the 21 lives lost inside Robb Elementary & the families keeping their memories alive. For 2 moms a year of grief has looked different & yet both say the same: They can’t move forward. They want their babies home.

Twenty-five years ago today, the FDA approved mifepristone for abortions. Now, it's more under threat than ever. I took a look at its history and the current efforts to restrict access to the abortion pills for @MotherJones: https://t.co/jrDLFFMGYY

I literally can’t keep track of the mass shootings in this country. This is different to the Michigan mass shooting I just posted about.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but please, please, don’t take medical advice from a man who can’t pronounce “acetaminophen” & who openly, shamelessly, reminds us all that he’s not a doctor he’s just “giving his opinion” while he blames moms for autism

Jimmy Kimmel's return is officially his most-viewed monologue of all time on YouTube, surpassing 14M views & growing rapidly, averaging roughly 1M views per hour. His previous record-holder was his monologue where he tearfully revealed his son Billy's heart disease 8 years ago.

A social media happy FBI director. Dubious "evidence" at best. Unqualified leaders in every high-ranking level of government. And still, one undeniable, actual fact remains: this country has an angry young white men with easy access to guns problem.

I wrote about *that* Tylenol press conference for @NYMag 's @TheCut. Trump and RFK Jr. are doing what Republicans have long done when faced with a situation society either doesn't understand or fails to adequately address: blame moms.

Homicide, mostly with guns, is the leading cause of maternal death in America. Gun violence is the leading cause of death among children in America. But this administration is focused on regulating
 Tylenol.

Trump keeps telling pregnant women in this announcement to avoid taking Tylenol and to "tough it out a little bit" because there's no downside. But medical experts say untreated fevers can increase the risk for miscarriages and preterm birth.

Conservatives have long attacked medication abortion, despite it being safer than Tylenol. So now, they're going after Tylenol, too. You cannot convince me this is not related, and, unfortunately, it's pregnant people who will suffer the most. Again.
