We live in a city where Black history is DC history and DC history is Black history. This month – and every month – we’re sharing our history, we’re celebrating Black excellence, and we’re uplifting the people and voices who continue to make DC the greatest city in the world.

Sometimes survivors get help from service providers or anti-trafficking organizations, but the concept of “rescuing” adult sex trafficking victims is misleading & dangerous. Survivors rescue themselves. https://t.co/CLPP1lNCw7

In 2022, our helplines offered assistance to more than 19,000 people. So far this year, we’ve advocated for victims’ rights across the US, provided nearly 10,000 people with access to educational webinars, and are bringing hundreds of victim service professionals to #NTI23.
