If Trump takes this, it will be the worst foreign policy decision a US president has ever made. Worse than Vietnam, worse than Iraq. Trump will be guaranteeing a third world war.

@ItIsHoeMath @lexodamus That may not be too far off. The LA freeway system looks desolate these days, comparatively. Just a microcosm. People will scoff at that number, but I believe its closer to 100 million than 30 million.

You can not genuinely believe that the use of "persons" instead of "citizens" wasn't intentional. It 100% is, there are provisions in there only for citizens too. After the 3/5th compromise, Dred Scott, and a civil war - the use of "persons" was intentional.
Except that the author of the 14th amendment made it clear he was referring to citizens. It's almost as if the American mantra of" We the People" was always referring to the people of America, aka Citizens.

Conservatives vs the 14th Amendment is maybe an all time great rivalry. They simply cannot understand why the 39th Congress wrote the 14th amendment to say “people” instead of “citizens” in many parts of it. It’s like the 90 years leading up to it just don’t exist to them.

The 14th amendment states in plain English that House seats are apportioned by the “whole number of persons in each state.” If you conduct a census that counts only citizens, you can’t use it to reapportion the House.
The next part of the plan to steal the midterms and/or the 2028 election - an attempt to do a mid-decade census to take seats and electoral votes away from blue states. I knew this was coming.

These are about two different things. The NYT clearly states “the first half of the year” so two quarters. The WSJ says the last quarter. This is only confusing if you don’t know how to read.
The fact that some people solely get their news by headlines is wild- look how different these 2 notifications read this morning.

There is the big 3 of NYC, LA, & Chicago. That part is easy. After that, you have a bunch of smaller cities that are culturally relevant but don’t really rise to the status as the big 3: .SF, Bos, ATL, Philly, Seattle, DC. Houston & Phoenix aren’t cities. Sorry.
