What's interesting, the database *was* updated 2 weeks ago, but the notification/issue was opened 5 hours ago. Was this a one-off deliverability issue?

oh, it appears as if you have summoned me there are several reasons as to why: 1. macOS does not use hinting hinting is a technique to improve the sharpness of text on low-resolution screens and allow outline fonts to be rendered as bitmaps at a variety of sizes. it works by

Pure Paste is amazing and should be the default behavior on macOS in my opinion. Highly recommended. https://t.co/es9urxpFzD

I was wondering why my vertically centering div trick no longer works in @nextjs 13’s App Layout Turns out each depth of path gets wrapped in a div, even though only the root-level layout is defined

Here's another thing we're playing with — variant "labels", a generalized solution to the nested group problem 🧐 Labels are dynamic and generated on the fly as you use them, nothing to specify in your config or anything like that. Useful for container query names too 👍

I feel like this new redesign is objectively awful. I am all for change and I own a record of accepting bold redesigns in the past. This one is a mistake I believe. Criticism without being constructive is worthless. I echo what is said here:

A new year, a new MDN! 🎉 If you’ve accessed the MDN website today, you probably noticed that it looks quite different. We've made some changes to create a clean and inviting website that makes navigating our content as easy as possible.

Working together with the @httpie team on their app design, we wanted to make it look like a native desktop app. But what makes a native desktop app look like a native desktop app? This thread has the results of that research.

Give me one reason for their existence other than successfully annoying users by either forcing them to click on "go to Safari" or "I accept your GDPR-compliant privacy policy" for a thousandth time.

💡 - 你用什么网络测速工具? MacOS 内置了一个网络情况测试工具 networkQuality。利用 Apple 全球 CDN 服务器来测速,相对客观准确。 使用方法:打开终端,输入 networkQuality。

We banned default imports in our projects and I can second this. We use "import * as" very, very rarely as well. 100% can recommend

JavaScript Tip 💡 Avoid default exports. You will get a better developer experience, especially if you're using TypeScript. If you're using CommonJS, you can spare yourself the annoying ".default" when you require. It's just generally a great habit ✌️

I've been using @useShortcut with my team at @DilatoApp for over 6 months now. It's absolutely amazing! Jira, Trello and others I've tried do not even come close. Great job Shortcut team! Keep it up!
