I've played like 11 hours of Foxhunt since it dropped last night and this shit is so fucking fun and funny. I hope they add some more game modes from old MGO (one of the pictures from the tutorial looked like a protect the vip mode so heres hoping)

I don't know why but these covers always are the most "og xbox" feeling when i think of early 2000s games. They're so simple but I love them and love remembering back to seeing them at blockbuster and wondering what they were when i was a kid

Like i find myself doing the charge and the absorb for essence sometimes doesn't happen and i just see it sitting there not coming to me

Did they change how absorbing essences to fast charge UTs work? Doing one on landing of a jump feels different compared to doing it after just replaying 1 and 2. Is the timing different in 4 or am i just doing something wrong?

Have tons of examples like this, clearly want to hit the tank, pretty sure i was even pushing the analog stick towards it and it does this
Have other people been having the issue in NG4 where you randomly swap targets for no reason? Idk if I just have minor stickdrift & its picking it up & this is the first time im seeing it. This is with soft lock btw, i'll be hitting a guy & randomly fly to another dude off screen

I'll get some clips because either i am doing something wrong which i don't understand or realize or the system is really finicky. Sometimes UTs just fly off to dudes off screen a mile away instead of the person i am targeting right in front of me

The one thing that i don't get at all is how much people are calling this MGR/Bayonetta. Like, yeah, its gameplay is different from 1-3 but 2 also had completely different priorities than 1 and 3 had different prioritiess than 2 yet we aren't calling those not ninja gaiden lol

Finished NG4 and really liked it! I have my issues with it but it was a blast. I think NGB is still my favorite but this is no slouch. Time to do Master Ninja and the post game content

I believe I am 15 chapters into NG4, idk how long it is but I’ve been having a lot of fun. Loving how Yakumo plays, need more time to form thoughts on Ryu’s gameplay. One of my biggest gripes is so far no vigorian flail lol. It’s my favorite weapon in the series
