Synbio won't mean shit if we can't deploy it at scale. We have to go big. REALLY big. And relying solely on bioreactors won't get us there. https://t.co/JB5ErWWMWc

You've already heard the news. @upsidefoods keeps making history. Their "No Questions" letter from the FDA is a huge milestone for the cultured meat industry. A great explanation of what this means from @VinceSewalt here ➡️

Blows my mind that it might actually be possible to be a “Cultivarian” now. (One who’s meat intake consists only of cultivated meat.)

Advice for young entrepreneurs/CEOs in #SynBio from @EmilyLeproust @TwistBioscience @BuiltWithBio 1) Don't stop fundraising - you have to keep at it all of the time. 2) Focus on company culture from day one. 3) It may feel lonely at times, but that feeling will pass.

Nice example of dialysis to control cell waste, increase cell density, reduce growth factor use, & reduce cost Underappreciated that cells in sufficiently high density cultures can use their own paracrine growth factors, rather than exogenous addition https://t.co/u6rUTeE44D

Absolutely spectacular video showing how mRNA Covid vaccines actually work. The human immune system - and the science which went into harnessing it through vaccines - is mind blowingly beautiful Watch. Enjoy. Learn. Vaccinate. #GetVaccinated
