To say Mary isn’t ever virgin is the same as a Jew who call our Mother of God a whore.. for if she isn’t ever virgin you can honestly disprove the whole Gospel because the virgin birth can forever be called into question! Her ever virginity is proof of the virgin birth happening

As a Protestant, I readily acknowledge Peter had a leadership role among the Twelve. But nothing in the text implies a permanent office where successors would retain the authority unique to that first apostolic generation.
