I haven't played it but this *could* be a shining example of a very big company making a better game by scaling back costs, rather than scaling them up. You can probably sell a lot more copies of a very good Metroidvania than a mediocre AAA game.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown uses exhilarating platforming, a deep combat loop, and more to create a new Metroidvania classic. Gameplay is king, and this Prince of Persia understands that.

If you’re coming into BG3 completely new, and you’re not used to this genre I can give you one tip: worry less about closing out quests and winning fights, and instead focus on exploring, toying with the tools & systems, remembering to take it slow and trust the dice.

The biggest Patch 6 change for me (that feels a little buried) is one you’ve been asking for. Now, when dialogue triggers without prior warning, the game will try and prfioritize your “main” character as the host of the conversation (rather than whoever triggered it)
