Ms. Rendon, one of our 5th grade teachers has started to get her room ready. She made this bulletin board after we had our Leadership Institute; When we talked about “YET” for mindset.

My 5th Graders did so well with the lesson today, that I decided to make a video for the absent students!😎There are (4) @brainingcamp Share Codes in the video that launch the multiplying fractions word problems. The fraction strips were a game changer! https://t.co/g6ESfpFkoo

A student I had who is now in 9th grade approached me to say hello and then shared with me that she still has her Math & Science journals from my class AND actually referred to them in middle school. That gave me warm fuzzy teacher feelings. ❤️❤️❤️ @NISDHenderson

This activity is one of my favorites! I learned it from the best! Thank you Melissa @marvelmath for sharing and teaching me so much. I sure miss our parallel teaching days. Also, Thank you @crystalmwilder for sharing out our 5th gd. awesome posters.
Wow way to go Fifth grade!! This respect the dot activity was so amazing. You can really see their understanding of the decimal. Way to keep our kids engaged and having fun in math. @NISDHenderson @NISDElemMath

ALL means ALL! Teachers beyond our ESL or Bilingual teachers please join us! This is one step towards equipping yourself to provide support for ALL our students. We’ve all had a “hidden” EL in our classrooms and it is our job to bring them out of the shadows.
Calling ALL NISD educators!!! Join us for our virtual EL Institute on July 29! Let's come together to reconnect, learn and move into action to meet the needs of our amazing English Learners. You don't want to miss out! https://t.co/Wa9Lb0GZia
