@BeckettUnite And one of the reasons that my husband spent 12 hours at A&E watching doctors and nurses stretched beyond reason yet still delivery fantastic care. This government should be ashamed. I donβt want to be 51st state of USA

Rishi Sunak, on the 22nd Feb, used Ukraine as a media distraction to quietly announce cuts of Β£5bl to the NHS budget.

In a βpersonal messageβ to Sunday Express readers the corrupt blob of incompetence chooses to stoke his puerile culture war. What a pathetic, small minded mountebank. Heβs vile. #ToryBrexitDisaster

Worth remembering that those resigning tonight are only doing so to save their own skins. There is not a hint of honour about any of them.

βIn hindsight, it was a mistake to appoint someone who abused his position & did not learn any lesson or changeβ SAYS BORIS JOHNSON, apparently without irony.

@janay_jb @implausibleblog Yes, I find myself thinking 'oh good it's Heseltine!' which would've been unthinkable when I was younger

@janay_jb @implausibleblog The policies were at times vile but there was some decency and respect still. Remember that thing called the ministerial code where they resigned when something went wrong?

@janay_jb @implausibleblog Frightening isn't it. Nowadays Labour's focus groups would probably reject him as too left wing!

@janay_jb @implausibleblog Absolutely . I marched against Thatcher & wonβt be sentimental because her policies were savage . However there was less gaslighting & it feels like there was less corruption . There was some actual link between MPs & understanding that people were meant to be represented.

@implausibleblog This started with Cameron promising a referendum on EU membership to win an election. Two years after that promise he got the results and resigned. Everything that followed had nothing to do with anything except keeping the Tories in power, they've destroyed our country

"There is no recovery for Johnson.. People don't trust Johnson.. He will say whatever suits him regardless of whether its true or not.. It started with brexit which is a pack of lies.. People know they have been deceived." Lord Heseltine on #Newsnight
