RED WEATHER WARNING ISSUED FOR EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE - STORM EOWYN . The Met Office has issued a Red Weather Warning for dangerous winds from 10am-5pm on Friday 24 January. As a result, the Council has taken the decision to close all schools and Early Years Centres on Friday.

This summer, 40 primary and secondary school teachers are taking part in a unique summer school to introduce filmmaking as a newly available subject in Scottish schools. The two-week course represents a further step towards establishing Scotland’s first Film & Screen Curriculum.
