Fab evening hosting @cornish_jack at.@VereyBooks, chatting about 'The Lost Paths'. the deep history of where we place our feet. Delightful chat that skipped between the Solway, Grasmere, Latrigg and the Pennines. All recorded for future release.

@Countrystride1 That was a beautiful ā€˜last’ episode. You two are so articulate about what makes Cumbria so special. So many places that we know and love, from Taylor Gill Force, to Jan’s Sandwich Shop, to Kirkoswald! Hopefully not the end. And see you in December!.

After 6.5 years, 200+ guests and hundreds of hours on the hill, we're hanging up the headphones (for now) on the pod. Before that, Ep #150 - By Sty Head Tarn – is now live, featuring reflections on the pod, and of our lifetime love of the Lakes. Enjoy.

Question for long distance walk enthusiasts. Down the Crooked Road into Moffat *three* National Trails (Great Trails north of the border) run together for just over a mile – Southern Upland Way, Annandale Way and Romans and Reivers Route. Is this unique in Britain?
