Can anyone explain @spoonfulofhan's perspective here? Those who agree no one should have to work to earn food & housing, can you please explain this to me? There is a cost to those things. So you think you have a right to enslave other people to pay for your cost of living?
If you think access to food has to be earned, you’re not a good person If you think access to housing has to be earned, you’re not a good person If you think access to healthcare has to be earned, you’re not a good person

Congrats to all the gloating silver bugs. You've done well over this tiny sliver of time, just not so much against Bitcoin over time. But don't forget that your money is still a sinking ship against bitcoin. See chart. This won't change. Sorry. But I do congratulate you on your

🚨 This is a prime example of the BILLIONS of dollars in fraud happening right now in Minnesota, this is one of the hundreds of “daycares” receiving millions of dollars from the government, this daycare (that can’t even spell learning right) received $1,900,000 in tax exempt

@ATLCWorker Yes. And here’s why: Fascism, genocide, and imperialism all share the same root: the belief that individuals exist to be used for a higher cause. Nation. Race. Class. History. God. Pick one. Liberalism, properly understood, rejects that premise. It says the individual is an end

@OzmunC Many Americans don’t hate communism. That’s exactly why it keeps creeping back. Those who do oppose it usually do so for reasons like these: It abolishes property rights, which means you don’t own your life, your labor, or the product of either. It replaces voluntary exchange

@JohnReed_1917 Funny how money is called evil only when individuals earn it. The moment a dictator claims ownership of it all, it magically becomes moral. Under communism, it’s seized by force and renamed “the people’s will.” They don’t hate power over money. They hate that it isn’t theirs.

Calling health care a “right” is not an elevation of morality. It’s a demand that someone else be forced to provide it. There’s no such thing as a “right” to goods or services that require human effort, time, skill, or property. Rights protect actions, not outcomes. They protect
Health care should be a right, not a privilege. That shouldn’t be a hot take in the wealthiest country in the history of the world.

@EdbieLigerSmith South Korea actually was bombed into rubble, started poorer than the North, lacked resources, and had no stability, and then became one of the richest, freest, most innovative countries on Earth by opening markets, allowing private ownership, and trading with the world. North

Are these people all parody accounts? Or are some people really this stupid @mcsquared34? At what point in human history did people not have to labor to earn a living? Go back to the caveman days if you will. Tell me when gaining food & shelter required no labor. I'll wait...
If the phrase “earn a living,” doesn’t piss you the f*ck off, it should. Everyone deserves to live, the end. There should be no qualifiers to it, like having to work a stupid job just for the PRIVILEGE to be alive.

@Iamivy05 You’re not actually upset at “the system.” You’re upset that reality requires effort. If you hate working 8–9 hours for the life you have, imagine having to work 8–9 hours to sustain yourself AND others who refuse to carry their own weight. The things you enjoy like housing,

⬆️PS: IDK if she's just trolling or a parody account or whatever, but there is plenty of social media activity demonizing capitalism & promoting Marxism or pure socialism, so apparently a lot of people actually do believe this crap, making it a worthwhile question to address.

Please tell us @HorrorGorl, if you don't "validate your existence with labor", whose labor are you taking advantage of to pay the cost of your food, housing, electricity & other living expenses? Somebody has to labor so you can live. Who will that slave for you?
Capitalism’s biggest con was convincing everyone that you need to validate your existence with labor

A British man said online that he didn’t want to see Palestinian flags in the UK. At 4am, police showed up at his door and arrested him. In the UK today, you can flood the streets praising terrorists—but get arrested for opposing them.

As an African immigrant who moved to the US as a kid...LEGALLY. I can say this with confidence... The reason my family left Zimbabwe was because America is objectively BETTER. No honest person who migrated from a third-world country would ever tell you otherwise. All this
