When in Rome! End of a wonderful first day on the Y11 humanities trip: lunch and geleato in the Terminus station, a stroll through the enchanting Villa Borghese, topped of with wood oven pizza for dinner. Che meraviglia!

It was wonderful to meet many Y6 students and their families at our open evening today. Thank you to the 250 CVC students who volunteered to stay and represent the school. A reminder that we are hosting a series of open mornings to visit the school during a working day.

Next week: Year 6 students to join us for a day. CVC Games Day on Wednesday with the awarding of the house cup. Silver Duke of Edinburgh group heads off on expedition a lucky group of students head to Wimbledon to watch the tennis. Thanks to staff for these fab events!

A fantastic evening of musical delights at CVC! Well done to all the students who were musical performers, comperes, photographers and technical support crew. An absolutely smashing evening displaying the talents in the student body.

CVC hosted our own hustings for the students to take part in a mock election this week. A huge thank you to the 5 candidates who presented to the students and gave their time to talk to the student body.

The sun is out this week and CVC has been buzzing with activities all week, including our Y6 information event,Y7 residential trip evening and now the weekend we will host the Fen Edge Festival. A fantastic community event, Mrs Andrews is going to try to sneak her dog in!

Very proud to share the site with the amazing @thecentreschool and see their amazing work recognised so positively in their recent Ofsted report, making such a difference to the children they work with. Well done to Sue Raven and the TCS team.
