Reports of a Bernie, eastbound, on the N40 South Ring Road. Take care on approach. (Sorry, we had to jump on the trend 😂. Something to smile at this Friday afternoon!)
For the grammar police commenting (whose profiles so far, I've checked, are not from Cork...) the broke and not broken was intentional. A play on the 'The Night the Goat Broke Loose On Grand Parade.'
Fair play, and a massive thanks to
@CorkCityFire
and members of
@GardaTraffic
who worked tirelessly today to contain the fire and maintain order at Douglas Village Shopping Centre 👏!
Washington Street and surrounding areas remain sealed off as Emergency Services deal with an incident (security incident/bomb threat) at the Mercy Hospital and Courthouse. Please continue to avoid the area if possible.

Reports of low flying reindeer (definitely not goats,) eastbound, on the N40 South Ring Road near the Douglas exit. Take extreme care on approach, as presents may be falling as debris.
We’re currently receiving a very high volume of tweets and messages. Apologies if we’re unable to reply to everyone individually!
